CHICAGO — A woman is suing Presence RHC Senior Services, Presence Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Presence Senior Services - Chicagoland, Presence Senior Services and Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, alleging wrongful death.
Antoinette Bellandi, executor of the estate of Amelia Rizzo, filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Rizzo developed pressure ulcers, which allegedly contributed to the deterioration of her health, while in the defendants' care.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Molly L. Condon of Hurley, McKenna & Mertz P.C. in Chicago.
