Symphony of Chicago West allegedly failed to prevent woman from developing pressure sores

CHICAGO — A  woman is suing Symphony of Chicago West and Maestro Consulting Services LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Marilyn Herns, attorney in fact for Clematine Leonard, filed a complaint on Feb. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Leonard experienced pain when she allegedly developed pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Leonard to prevent her from developing pressure sores.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Michelle E. Thompson of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
