CHICAGO — Two employees have filed a class action lawsuit against American Quest Staffing Solutions Inc. for allegedly violating the Illinois Day and Temporary Labor Services Act (IDTLSA).
Jennifer Hurtado and Alma Mora filed a complaint on March 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant charged its employees for rides to and from client companies.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were charged $5 per day in 2017 for transportation to and from the offices of the defendant's clients, allegedly violating the IDTLSA.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant for back wages, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Alvar Ayala and Christopher J. Williams of Workers' Law Office PC in Chicago.
