CHICAGO — A man is suing Machinery and Conveyor Services Inc., Vanderlande Industries and United Parcel Service Co. for alleged product liability and negligence.
Bruno Rentauskas III filed a complaint on March 26 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly design its conveyor system so that it would be safe.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained severe physical injuries to his brain and spine on June 13 when a heavy package allegedly fell onto his head. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn him about the allegedly defective and dangerous condition of the conveyor system.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court, plus interest and court costs. He is represented by Christopher M. Norem and Matthew J. Coleman of Parente & Norem P.C. in Chicago.
