CHICAGO — A patient's relative is suing Aperion Care Midlothian, Aperion Consulting LLC, Aperion Financial LLC and a nurse for allegedly failing to provide adequate medical care.
Dana Johnson, power of attorney for Sharon Johnson, filed a complaint on April 26 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Sharon Johnson suffered pain due to developing multiple pressure sores, which allegedly have affected her physical, mental and psychological condition, while in the defendants' care.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
