Michael M. Maghrabi DPM PC allegedly failed to properly perform foot surgery

CHICAGO — A man is suing Dr. Michael Maghrabi and Michael M. Maghrabi DPM PC for alleged negligence.

Theodore Pfeifer filed a complaint on April 25 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he suffered severe injuries and damages due to a surgical procedure that he claims was not properly performed. The plaintiff claims that he has suffered pain, medical expenses, lost wages and disfigurement as a result of allegedly undergoing a triple arthrodesis, a procedure that seeks to relieve pain in the back part of the foot.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages in an amount that exceeds $50,000. He is represented by Donald A. Shapiro and Matthew R. Basinger of Donald A. Shapiro Ltd. in Chicago.
