CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Care S.C. and Dr. Daniel Troy for alleged negligence.
Kathryn Dailey filed a complaint on May 1 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants performed spinal fusion surgery on her. After the procedure, the plaintiff claims that she discovered that she had sustained further injuries.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly stabilize her spine, refer her for a second opinion and properly align her spine with her pelvis.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of the court. She is represented by Jeffrey C. Schwartz of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
