CHICAGO — A woman is suing Warren Barr South Loop for alleged negligence.

Denise Daniels, independent administrator of the estate of Booker Brown, filed a complaint on April 30 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to provide Brown with proper medical care in violation of the Nursing Home Care Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Brown suffered pain when he allegedly developed pressure ulcers and other injuries while he was under the care and supervision of the defendant.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount greater than $50,000, plus attorney's fees and litigation costs. She is represented by Robert J. Rooth of the Rooth Law Firm in Evanston.
