Prairie Green at Fay's Point allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A man is suing Prairie Green at Fay's Point for alleged negligence.

Daryl Tankersly, independent administrator of the estate of Essie Mae Reed, filed a complaint on May 3 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Reed sustained injuries from allegedly falling while at the defendant's facility, which allegedly resulted in the deterioration of her physical and mental health.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly train its staff and ensure that Reed received adequate supervision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Bella Feinstein of the Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates PC in Chicago.
