CHICAGO — A woman is suing  The Valley at Victory Lakes and Franciscan Sisters of Chicago Service Corporation for alleged negligence.

Marie Serzynski filed a complaint on May 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she suffered injuries and pain due to allegedly developing pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate medical care and prevent her from developing pressure sores.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000, plus attorneys' fees and costs. She is represented by Susan L. Novosad and Megan Shore of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
