Children's Rehabilitation Center Inc. allegedly failed to provide proper medical care

CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Children's Rehabilitation Center Inc. for alleged negligence and wrongful death.

Damontez Pendleton, special administrator of the estate of Kantral Pendleton, filed a complaint on May 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Kantral Pendleton sustained severe physical, mental and emotional injuries as a result of the defendant's alleged negligence. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide Pendleton with appropriate emergency medical care, provide him with clothes that didn't smell bad and properly supervise and monitor him. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages greater than $50,000, plus costs and attorneys' fees. The plaintiff is represented by Michael S. Keating and Thomas A. Reuland of Keating Law Offices PC in Chicago.
