CHICAGO — Two estate representatives are suing North Church Nursing & Rehab LLC, Aperion Care Jacksonville, Aperion Care Inc. and Yosef Meystel for alleged negligence.
Elizabeth Kennedy and Shirley Jenkins, co-guardians of the estate of Jack Joiner, filed a complaint on May 15 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Joiner suffered pain and damages when he allegedly developed pressure ulcers while in the defendants' care. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide Joiner with proper medical care.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgement greater than $50,000. They are represented by David G. Pribyl of Dudley & Lake LLC in Libertyville.
