CHICAGO — A couple is suing Dr. Mark Gonzalez, Dr. Nancy Burk, Dr. Frank Bohnekamp, Dr. Matthew Simons and two nurses for alleged medical negligence and loss of consortium.
Joseph Campbell and Sabrina Wilson-Campbell filed a complaint on May 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Campbell with proper medical care when they performed a surgical procedure on Campbell's right knee. During the surgical procedure, he allegedly sustained permanent injuries that caused his wife, Wilson-Campbell, to lose the society, companionship and affection of her husband.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court, plus costs. They are represented by Cy Weiner in Chicago.
