CHICAGO — An estate executor is suing Manor Care Health Services - Elk Grove Village for alleged negligence.
Kathleen Peppi, independent executor of the estate of Janet Peppi, filed a complaint on May 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Janet Peppi suffered pain and anguish due to a recurring urinary tract infection and pressure wounds. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide Janet Peppi with timely medical care, immediately notify her physician of the severity of her condition and develop an adequate care plan.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in an amount that exceeds $50,000, plus attorneys' fees, costs and any other appropriate relief. She is represented by Thomas W. Dillon, Brian W. Irvin and Michael A. Burr of Konicek & Dillon PC in Geneva.
