CHICAGO — A service provider and two associated entities are suing dissolved medical billing services company Infomedix LLC and manager Svetlana Gillman, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Mark Parisi, Psy. D & Associates PC and Home Psych Services PC filed a complaint June 7 in Cook County Circuit Court.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs claim they suffered a loss in the amount of 6.5% of all billings refunded to Medicare and various insurance companies, including $264,779 to Medicare and $3,490 to United Healthcare Insurance Co., as a result of the confusion of the defendants as to what constituted a grounds for refund.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek a judgment against defendants greater than $50,000, plus costs, attorney's fees and other relief that is deemed proper. They are represented by Michael Settanni of Otto & Settanni PC in Park Ridge.
