CHICAGO — A resident is suing Aperion Care Forest Park, citing alleged negligence and violation of the Nursing Home Care Act.
Maria Huerta De Montoya filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they neglected her while she was a resident at the facility.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges, while she was a resident at the facility, she suffered multiple falls, including an incident in January 2017, which resulted in a lumbar fracture.
The plaintiff seeks more than $50,000. She is represented by Katherine Moorhouse of Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman in Chicago.
