Jones Day welcomes Kristina Hendricks to Chicago Office as partner in Intellectual Property Practice

Jones Day issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.

The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Kristina N. Hendricks has joined the Firm as a partner in its Intellectual Property Practice. She is based in the Firm's Chicago Office.

Ms. Hendricks has substantial experience representing clients in patent and trade secret disputes. She has litigated cases in a variety of complex technology areas, including semiconductor fabrication, computer hardware and software, wireless protocols, telecommunications, database management systems, fintech, and internet security. Ms. Hendricks has handled all aspects of both district court and International Trade Commission litigation.

"Kristina's professional track record, scientific background, and litigation skills make her a tremendous addition to our practice comprised of experienced trial lawyers and scientifically trained patent lawyers," said Anthony M. Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Hendricks worked as an electrical engineer in the semiconductor industry. In addition, she studied Chinese Intellectual Property Law at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Ms. Hendricks earned her law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology and her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas.
