Alleged dog bite leads to lawsuit against Chicago residents

A woman is suing over claims she was bitten by a Saint Bernard.

Kristina Clark filed a lawsuit July 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Julie Shekell and Mark Weissman.

According to the complaint, Clark was on the defendants' property on West Potomac Avenue in Chicago on Sept. 12, 2012, when she was bitten by the defendants' tan and white Saint Bernard.

Clark is seeking more than $30,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorneys at Loren B. Siegel & Associates LLC in Chicago.
