Man accuses dog owner, others of negligence in alleged attack

A man is suing over claims he was attacked by a dog in Arlington Heights.

William Gruber filed a lawsuit July 15 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Diane Bolash, William E. Bolash Trust and Chicago Title Land Trust Co., as trustee under trust agreement dated the 30th day of November 2012 and known as Trust No. 8002360746.

According to the complaint, Gruber was on property owned by William E. Bolash Trust and Chicago Title Land Trust on Forrest Avenue in the Village of Arlington Heights on Aug. 12, 2012, when he was bitten by Diane Bolash's dog.

Gruber accuses the defendants of negligence and violating the Illinois Animal Control Act and negligence.

He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Terrence E. Davey of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
