Pedestrian accuses driver of hitting him crossing Pulaski Avenue

A man is suing over claims he was struck by a car while crossing Pulaski Avenue.

Stanislaw Sobolewski filed a lawsuit July 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Jonnie Scott, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Sobolewski was crossing Pulaski Avenue at its intersection with Peterson Avenue in Chicago on Dec. 22, 2012, when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Scott.

Sobolewski accuses Scott of negligently operating his motor vehicle. He is seeking more than $30,000 in damages and is being represented by attorneys at Mitchell & Allen in Chicago.
