A man is suing a Des Plaines casino over claims he fell while in the bathroom.
Don Haworth filed suit Jan. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against Midwest Gaming & Entertainment, doing business as Rivers Casino.
According to the complaint, Haworth was using the bathroom in the casino at 3000 South River Road on Feb. 8, 2013, when he slipped and fell on liquid in the bathroom.
Haworth accuses the defendant of failing to remove the accumulation of liquid from the bathroom floor and failing to warn invitees of the existence of the dangerous condition. He is seeking damages and is represented by Shea Law Group in Chicago.
