Woman sues Walgreens over slip-and-fall at West Side store

A Cook County woman is suing over claims that she was injured in the aisles of a Walgreens store in Chicago's Austin neighborhood.

Marion Robinson filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Walgreens, citing negligence. 

According to the claim, Ms. Robinson was shopping at the Walgreens store located at 5518 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago in September 2013 when she slipped and fell on the floor, resulting in injuries, requiring her to spend money for medical care and treatment. 

Robinson is seeking damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is being represented in the case by Elman Law Group LLC, of Chicago.
