Patient accuses Arlington Heights dentist of malpractice

CHICAGO — A patient is suing an Arlington Heights dentist, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries. 

Roumyana Boneva filed a lawsuit May 23, in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Cvetn Mechev and Arlington Heights Dental, alleging negligence in failing to provide proper dental care.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 1, 2010, she suffered permanent injuries and became liable for large sums of money because Mechev failed to properly perform a total mouth restoration.

Boneva seeks judgment in a dollar amount to satisfy the jurisdictional limitations of the court, plus legal cost and any further relief the court sees fit. She is represented by attorney Mark C. Murnane of O'Connor & Nakos LTD in Chicago.
