Mother alleges improper care for son at medical center

CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased man's estate is suing Harvey J. Friedman, Daniel D. Rivard, Thomas H. Burnstine, Heidi B. Furr, Kelley Harrison and Advocate Condell Medical Center, health providers, citing alleged negligence pursuant to the Illinois Wrongful Death Act.

Lydia D. Cassaro, individually and as the special administrator of the estate of Randall R. Bianchi, filed a complaint on July 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Bianchi.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that her son, Bianchi, was injured as a result of improper treatment by the defendants. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly performing several procedures that caused the injuries.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, compensatory damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Michael E. Holden of Romanucci & Blandin, LLC in Chicago.
