CHICAGO — An administrator is suing Jerzy Jaje and his employer, Thatch Canopies Inc., alleging negligence in operation of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and caused his death.
Serge Braslavsky, as independent administrator of the estate of Jonathan Braslavsky, deceased, filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that Jaje failed to properly control his vehicle, causing it to strike Jonathan Braslavsky.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 5, 2015, Jonathan Braslavsky sustained serious physical injuries when he was hit by a vehicle and died nine days later from those injuries. The plaintiff holds Jaje and Thatch Canopies Inc. responsible because Jaje was allegedly negligent while operating a vehicle as the agent of Thatch Companies Inc.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $100,000. He is represented by Laura Golub of Law Offices of Laura Golub in Deerfield.
