CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Dr. Mohamad Martini, Advocate Medical Group, Dr. Vsevolod Tikhomirov, Cardiac Surgery Associates S.C., Dr. Cherdkiat Sangkam, Dr. Srinivas Reddy, Specialty Physicians of Illinois LLC and Franciscan Health - Olympia Fields, alleging wrongful death after the hospital allegedly discharged him without ensuring a man was healthy enough to leave after a heart attack.
Cheryl Ray, special administrator of the estate of Kenneth Ray, filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to ensure Kenneth Ray had sufficiently recovered before discharging him after he had been admitted following a heart attack.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Steve Swanson of Motherway & Napleton LLP in Chicago.
