CHICAGO — A man is suing Ballard Respiratory Rehabilitation Center LLC and Landmark of Des Plaines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, citing alleged medical negligence.
David J. Abram, via J. Anthony Karam, his power of attorney, filed a complaint on May 2 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Abram suffered pain and injuries due to allegedly falling multiple times while he was at the defendants' facility. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide Abram with proper medical care.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount greater than $50,000, plus attorney's fees, costs and any other appropriate relief. He is represented by Thomas W. Dillon and Brian W. Irvin of Konicek & Dillon PC in Geneva.
