A Chicago lawyer who made the headlines earlier this year when she filed petitions related to the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 before any evidence was recovered has been censured by the Illinois Supreme Court for her actions in a different aviation case.

Man sues Norwood Park bar over alleged attack by "unruly" patron

A restaurant and bar in the city's Norwood Park neighborhood is facing a lawsuit from a customer who alleges another patron got drunk and started a fight with him.  Thomas Maloney filed suit Nov. 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against Iron Horse Tavern, doing business as Iron Horse Ale House, and Joseph Haugh. According to the complaint, Maloney was visiting the Iron Horse Ale House at 6158 N. Northwest

Rayn filed a complaint Nov. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court against A.W. Chesterton Co., H.B. Fuller Co., Union Carbide Chemicals and Plastics Co., and dozens of other companies. ARDC panel recommends three-year suspension for lawyer accused of having relationship with client

A suburban lawyer accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a female client and accepting almost $200,000 in loans and investments from her should be suspended, according to a panel of the state's lawyer disciplinary agency.The Review Board of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (IARDC) issued a report late last month, upholding the recommendation of the ARDC Hearing
